Smooth Reverb

I've Always loved the Lexicon gear but never knew about EMT . Thanks to Universal Audio I can experience EMT in all its glory , I find myself going for the EMTs more because they are Smooth . Its hard to believe one of the first Digital Reverbs ever made would sound so good.

More than a reverb plug...

This is really a multiFX plug in. The reverb alone is good, the other effects make it a slam dunk. The sounds are smooth, creamy and lush.

Very impressive!

The EMT 250 is everything I expected and more. It's not just another Reverb unit. It has a character of it's own and allows for dialing in anything from subtle ambiance to massive lush Reverb tails. It has become part of my go to effects in my templates. Aside from Reverb, it also features Delay, Phaser, Chorus, Echo and Space effects.

I have never had the privilege to use a real EMT-250 unit but the sound and character of this plugin speaks volumes for itself and works amazing.

You won't be disappointed with this purchase. Don't forget that this all runs on the UAD platform and does not tax your DAW, that's one of the great advantages. You've got a state of the art Reverb/Ambience processor and it doesn't touch your CPU.

Emt 250 Plate Reverb

Excellent!!! I am always in search of the appropriate reverb sound that doesn't get in the way or overtake the source. This reverb retains the integrity of the original sound while simply enhancing with a beautiful and natural sounding ambience. Perfect for many things, but I LOVE it on snare!!!

fantastic reverb and more

This ended up being my go to UAD reverb. It is not so much a dreamy reverb as it is a clean reverb that helps ground the source to the mix. The other FX are also wonderful.

Very musical

As the title says, it's a very musical and useable EQ. The presets are a great starting point to work from, and it's hard to get a "bad" sound out of it.

Highly recommended!

What a reverb !

This reverb is great and it does everything I need !
The presets are great starting points but its definitely a good idea to find your own settings and save them !
I would definitely recommend this plugin as a great sounding reverb.

Wow and... Wow

What a time we live in when the "Average Joe / Joan" can have sounds like this at affordable prices. What's old is new again.. and just in time.

Killuh Dilluh

Wow ,,,,What a slick verb. I have the 224 which is way the deal! But!!!! when I add this puppy with it I get some very nice lush verb's. It's little bit of a tric to get it figured out as far as using it, so use the presets to get started and tweek it from there. By starting with the presets you also learn how it's being set up for the different verb and chorus settings stored. I really am hung up on it, I spent the better part of all nite last week playin with it. I got into it way deep on my BV trac's using the chorus side and it blew my mind right outta my head. Just a touch of it here and there made the tracs sit right down in the mix. Reminded me of the concrete delay room at Studio In The Country a studio Katrina killed. Git it.

Incredible reverb - great for a Hall kind of vibe

After watching Fab Dupont's training video's on PureMix.com and seeing him use the EMT250 for pretty much all his mixing duties, I just knew I had to get my hands on it. Managed to pickup a Solo/Laptop PCIE card for pretty cheap off ebay and purchased this plugin immediately. I've used it in almost every mix I've work on since....its fantastic! Combining it with the EMT140 works like a charm with most stuff. If you're debating getting this plugin, just do it....you won't be disappointed!

So nice!

J'adoooore!

Great Digital Reverb!

The EMT 250 is worth every penny. Not only does it sound beautiful as a Reverb unit, but it also comes packed with 4 extra FX (and they are all great!). The Chorus is so amazing and works wonderfully on background vocals and electric guitars. But the Reverb is definitely my favorite. It's so lush, yet it doesn't muddy up your tracks. So good! I personally liked it better than all the other UAD offerings, YMMV.

WARNING: Be careful when you demo this thing, you may end up wanting it :P.
