This is a game changer: i rate 10 stars
I usually mix in Logic or Protools.
When I tried Luna I immediately bought the bundle with the Neve Summing.
LUNA has its own sound !!! it's incredible.
Everything is much better for me: deeper and more detailed.
The Studer and Oxide plugins put into the new workflow are amazing.
I had just finished a mix in Logic X and I did it again in Luna: Luna sounds wider and smoother.
Everything was even more simple and faster.

Review for the Creator bundle.
1. I already owned Studer A800 so my bundle purchase was somewhat discounted - assume reflecting ownership of the A800. The discounted price was still close to the price of Neve summing and Moog if purchased separately...
2. Love love love the Moog. So far it for me it has been amazing - a truly authentic analog sounding synth that adds everything the hardware version does and adds a few tricks too. This was a big draw for my purchase and I couldn't be happier. WOW.
3. Neve summing - this was the other reason I purchased the Creator Bundle. This extension provides significant additional width and depth to mixes and a certain 3D perception. As has been mentioned, it also forces more attention to gain staging and has modified my workflow. I'm very very happy with this aspect of LUNA.
4. Ravel - still getting to know this instrument. It sounds exquisite but is pricey on its own for a superb piano that can only be used in LUNA. I probably wouldn't have paid full price extra for it, but I am very happy that it is included in the bundle and feel that it adds additional value.
Overall very happy and very happy with v1.01 of LUNA !!

UA knows the puzzle pieces us users need
Using Neve summing, I was shocked and amazed with the weight it added to my mixes. Super easy to use, yet it adds a nice wide clear image of what you run through it, very satisfied!

Would purchase except
The Luna creator Bundle includes Studer A800 I have this already. I don't see myself paying for this bundle if I already have this plugin it should be discounted or price reduction based on if you have already have anyone of the plugins in this bundle.
UA needs to come up with a better package for already purchased plugins. Bummer!

Sweetens the mix
Adds nice saturation and enlivens the midrange without the hiss and latency of the venerated alternative. Perfect for mastering.

The bad reviews are from people who can’t read well
The never said that Neve summing was free, most of the negative reviews are from people that didn’t want to pay for it/hobbyists. Neve Summing and Luna are the real deal!

Fantastic!
The Neve Summing Extension really has a two dimensional impact on working in LUNA:
First, it imparts a detailed width and depth to the mix while somehow managing to make it bigger and closer to the listener at the same time. I found this especially true in low impedance mode. It's not brighter, it's not compressed, it's just better. I don't know how you would achieve that sound with any combination of plugins. I sum outside the box through an SSL with a pair of Shelford Channels on the Main insert and didn't think the Neve Summing Extension would make that much difference. I was wrong.
Second, the Neve Summing really forces the user to pay close attention to gain staging. Not just at the 2 buss, but at each summing step as well. In fact, I've found LUNA in general has had this effect on me, much more so than Pro Tools. I really like the workflow impact.
Thank you Universal Audio for continuing to have the vision and drive to push the limits of innovation in audio recording. Exceptional job on the release of LUNA and countless hours of continued customer support through the Office Hours videos, document releases, etc. It's the first DAW I've used that has a "sound" of it's own. And to my ears it sounds great. Adding the Neve Summing Extension takes it up another level.

The warmth one would imagine.
After deciding to start a mix in Luna of a session that I’ve had in Pro Tools I was immediately blown away by the use of the Neve summing.
I created a buss for just about every group with the Neve summing engages. Kick, Snare, toms, brass, bass, guitars, and so on. I was impressed with the depth and width it allowed me to achieve. I had them all at unity gain and mixed into the busses and being able to bring things forward by simply flipping the impedance was just fantastic. I opted not to use it on the master buss as it didn’t add to what I was going for.
All in all it was something I could directly A/B with old mixes and notice the hyper realism of the instruments. It all felt like they could physically be touched in the mix. Absolutely love it.

Good stuff
Overall the samples of this piano are fantastic and playability is great right when it opens. I do wish there were additional controls and settings for things such as pedal noise. But I know this will only get better with updates. Nice work Universal Audio!

Moogtastic!
Currently demoing the Mini Moog and it is hands down the best emulation of the classic there is. This thing blows away every other emulation of the Mini and actually sounds better than my hardware clones / synths inspired by the original! Keep up the great work!

I going to demo it shortly if I can, just off the videos I’m an hype, just learning from mwtm, youtube and over time... I feel like this is a key element in what my mixes are lacking, more rides and front to back, and more time spent through taking breaks and using refs! Hopefully soon I’ll be charted because of Luna and my buddys for letting me mix their tracks! It would be dope for a % off for a few hrs or a limited email offer to a few.. thank you guys! Adds depth and clarity
Analog Summing has been a dark art in getting mixes to sound REAL. A computer can do a great job calculating all the signals digitally together, giving you an overload of detail and overstimulating your ears. Analog Summing gives you smooth detail and a pleasing sound, adding depth and clarity. I know, because I do a lot of analog summing in my workflow. And I still do, but the Neve Summing extension allows me to do it all in the box and get everything to 8 stereo groups to feed my Analog Summing box (which is 16 channels). My mixes are sounding way better, cuz I used to cheat by doing half digital summing and half analog. Now, my digital summing is always done using the amazing sounding Neve Summing extension. WORTH EVERY PENNY. A reason to use LUNA.

Overpriced
Sad to see that the pricing of this plug is as much as the Moog, which is way more complex plugin. This should cost no more tha $99, as it just does 1 thing: add saturation. At least sell it with a discount for people that owns other Neve plugs.

The difference is incredible
No pitch, no trust me's, no bs... Just pick a song you've done that you are REALLY proud of the sound and then drop those stems in Luna. Now turn on the Neve Summing extensions, you'll be sold. It's NOT just a plugin, its a System Extension. It's a new thing, don't be afraid, just embrace and appreciate NOT having to fork over $250,000 for this kind of sound.

LUNA! Prepare for Lush Sound and a New Workflow!
The Luna Creator bundle is great and it takes the FREE Luna software to the next level. This is not a DAW, this is a Recording System! UA rethought studio recording from the ground up and because they are so outside the box, they created extensions! Where to start?!?!?! The Neve summing is unlike any regular plugin (I don't care what they say) It is an extension of the system... See what they did there. The sound is subtle but so lush and amazing, its a great way to not have to spend $250,000 for the true nature of Neve sound. The Moog, oh the Moog!! This thing is beyond amazing, its so fat and organic, way thicker and more authentic than other Moog plugins. Honestly better than a real Mini because it stays in tune ;)
The Ravel piano has to be heard to be believed... close your eyes and you'll swear there a grand piano in front of you.
